Numbers of birds were not particularly high but the group of birders present turned up some nice birds including a nice male Scarlet Tanager, with warblers being Black-throated Blue, Yellow Palm, several Black-throated Green, Black-and-White, N Parula and Ovenbird, and many Myrtles. A Blue-winged Warbler singing a repeated buzzy note had everyone fooled for a while. There were a few Red-eyed Vireos around as well, also a year's first for me. Before heading off to get into work I paid a short visit to the Horse Center area and came across a singing Nashville Warbler. I had to leave by 7:45 so doubtless the best birds turned up after that.... Good birding Clive HarrisCabin John, Md --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster.
