Spring Warbler Walk=20

Location: Patapsco Valley State Park=20

Early May is the time of the year when the variety of bird species is the=20
greatest in the Park. Join Bill Ellis and Marian Dodson for this walk in the=
 <A HREF=3D"http://www.dnr.state.md.us/outdooradventures/tubeavalon.html">
Orange Grove, Glen Artney, and Avalon Areas</A> to see and hear a variety of=

warblers and other spring migrant and resident species. Pre-registration is=20
required.=20

Spring Birding on the Eastern Shore=20

Location: Tuckahoe State Park & Adkins Arboretum=20

Bird watching on the Eastern Shore can be very enjoyable in early May. Visit=
=20
a few of our favorite areas near the Queen Anne's/Caroline County border. <A=
 HREF=3D"http://www.dnr.state.md.us/publiclands/eastern/tuckahoe.html">
Tuckahoe State Park</A> and the surrounding areas offer a combination of=20
bottomland forest, wetlands, riparian areas, farm and fallow fields. The <A=20=
HREF=3D"http://www.adkinsarboretum.org/">
Adkins Arboretum</A> property provides habitat for a diversity of residents=20=
and=20
migrants. Some of the target birds for the morning are Kentucky Warbler, Woo=
d=20
Duck, Blue Grosbeak, Acadian Flycatcher, Scarlet Tanager, and a spot to=20
compare Orchard and Baltimore Orioles.=20
