I immediantly recognized the voice form the old Gilligan's Island shows. Is that bird native to the south Pacific? -----Original Message----- From: Janet Millenson [mailto:janet@TWOCROWS.COM] Sent: Friday, December 20, 2002 12:36 AM To: MDOSPREY@HOME.EASE.LSOFT.COM Subject: [MDOSPREY] Birdsong sound effect in theater If you are lucky enough to see "South Pacific" at Arena Stage in D.C. (truly "some enchanted evening"!), you'll notice that late in the second act there's a minute or so of recorded birdsong as the only sound. Can anyone identify the birds involved? Usually such sound effects are from a totally wrong part of the world. Thanks.
