Just like in the birder's guide to Montgomery County book, it was among the dead trees at the bottom of the footpath across from Parking lot 9 on the east end of the park. I had to wait around maybe 30 minutes for it to fly into the area. Sometimes it's at the North end of the inlet, I think. It was looking into a tree hole for a long time, didn't seem too shy (fishermen and canoeists about), didn't give any calls.
