At Constitution Gardens, there were only a few Juncos and Savannah Sparrows, but many Chipping Sparrows and a large number of American Goldfinches. At the DC Veteran's Memorial, more Chipping Sparrows, Yellow-rumped Warblers and Ruby-crowned Kinglets. A new arrival on the Mall was a Gray Catbird, and a new bird for my Mall list was a female Eastern Bluebird. She gave a few pecks at stuff that looked like nesting material (shredded plastic, anyway), so I'll be sure to keep an eye out in the weeks to come.
