The freelance writer who has spearheaded this project has been in touch with me since the conception of this idea. She now needs some field help and I hope there are people out there, especially in Baltimore who do their part for the oriole! 1) She would like to be in touch with people in Baltimore who have orioles in their backyards. You don't have to be an expert, just willing to talk about your experiences with the oriole. If you fall into this category, please let me know. Also...if you are a trip leader and often come across BOs, your expertise may be just as valuable. Let me know! 2) Does anyone out there know the history of the oriole in MD and how/why this species become so important to the State? If you have information you wish to share, please let me know.
