    This morning (10/23) three Pine Siskins found their way to the Walnut
Tree in my back yard.  Also had 14 Juncoes along the driveway (1st of season
at this place).  Other home place sightings on this lovely morning included:

    Pileated Woodpecker
    Belted Kingfisher
    Towhee
    Swamp Sparrows (5)
    Song Sparrow
    White-throated Sparrow
    Field Sparrow
    Purple Finch (2)
    Cedar Waxwings (4)
    Robins (14)
    Bluebirds
    Golden-crowned Kinglet
    Ruby-crowned Kinglet
    Yellow-rumped Warblers (many)
    Flickers (8)
    and the other usuals - Chickadees, Cardinals, Mallards and Canada Geese

    After having been out of town for a week, it is nice to be back.
