However, 2 years ago, I had what I first thought was a ECDO in an area across from the old Laytonsville landfill pond. I checked it the next day with Barry Cooper, Gail Mackiernan, and Rob Gibbs, but we failed to locate it. After nearly 2 weeks in Florida, I returned and DID locate the bird, which turned out to be a Ringed Turtle-dove. Good luck with this one; hope it turns out to be the real thing. It's just a matter of time...
