Most were = streaming in from the northeast so they were probably roughly the same = ones seen at Cromwell Valley. The first 100+ kettled quite low so were = probably over-nighting in the nearby woods. Most of the rest streamed in = high, mainly east of Cylburn, then formed kettles of 100+ about 1/2 mile = south although some were closer. The sky was clear, winds light about = 5mph apparently from the north to northeast. From 8 AM to 9 am the warblers were quite active behind the mansion, = roughly: Parula 2 Nashville 2 Tennessee 1 Magnolia ~5 Black-throated Green ~5 Chestnut-sided ~5 Redstart ~3 Also, Phila Vireo - well-seen by 2 of us Rose-br Grosbeak 1+=20 Hummer 1 House Wren 1 Red-br nuthatch 2+ heard Red-tailed Hawk 2 Red-shoulder 2 Osprey 4 7 observers, plus a few not staying with the group Back-tracking to 9/15 (Sat): Pete Webb, Gail Frantz and I had similar = warbler activity at Milford Mill with 4 Rose-br Grosbeaks plus one more = in Pete's yard which also had a Phila Vireo. Pete and I also had a = Purple Finch on Gunpowder Road near Falls Road.
