The warblers were there in good numbers, we tallied eleven species.=20 Redstarts - 15 Magnolia - 14 Ovenbird - 1 Blackburnian - 1 Common Yellowthroat - 8 Black-throated Green - 15 Chestnut-sided - 12 Worm-eating - 1 Northern Parula - 9 Black and White - 15 GOLDEN - WINGED WARBLER - 1 (Seen 75 to100 yards west of the bulletin board) Other birds seen - Great Crested 4, Yellow-throated Vireo 1, Phoebe 2, = Empids 3, Gnatcatchers 12, Red-breasted Nuthatch 1. The only birds in short supply were the raptors. Only 2 Coopers Hawks, 1 = Red-tail, 2 Bald Eagles and 4 Turkey Vultures were seen during the = morning.
