The eagle flew in from the south and landed on one of the light towers for the ballfields. I was patrolling the park at the time and was able to point the bird out to several people walking the trail. It was a life bird for most of the non-birders I talked to. The eagle was occasionally harassed by a few crows, but didn't seem to mind them or the kids playing football beneath the light tower. Twice it changed light towers, but hung around the park for about 20 minutes befor e flying off to the east.
