Lots of Wood Thrushes (I'd guess 6-8, though quite possibly more), a few Swainson's, and a Gray-cheeked/Bicknell's type (still working on these call notes). Plus lots of other calls (warblers, etc.) that I just couldn't identify. By dawn we were able to see a few of the birds, though the mist made viewing difficult. Here are some that I identified, mostly in and around the big walnut tree. I'm sure that others present would add to the list: 1 Chestnut-sided W. 1 Black-and-white W. 1 Blackburnian W. 1 Black-throated Blue W. 4+ Black-throated Green W. 1 Canada W. 2+ Magnolia W. 1 Blackpoll W. 1 Bay-breasted W. 1 Co. Yellowthroat Plus the usual assortment of woodpeckers, catbird, etc. Nothing noteworthy. At about 8:00 am or so I went to the Dog Run Area. There I added: 1 Connecticut Warbler (in the dense brush at the tree line) 1 Wilson's Warbler (female) 1 Common Yellowthroat. I didn't have time to check the Maintenance Yard.
