I wish I could have been there but I foun= d a spot closer to home where I watch the morning flight now. The numbers of birds in morning flight in Cape May are usually larger than those at Assateague but I think Assateague is better in a lot of ways, usually givin= g longer views of birds in a quieter environment. Anyway, FYI, below is what I saw in morning flight at Cape May this weekend (Sep. 14/15).
