The pond is just before the parking area at the point. A few other notables were three Pied-billed Grebes, one Merlin, one Sharp-shinned Hawk and numerous Brown Thrashers and Gray Catbirds. Twelve Brown Thrashers and four Gray Catbirds joined by two Northern Cardinals, two Wood Thrushes, one Common Yellowthroat, three Veeries and a Red-eyed Vireo were in one small tangle investigating a black snake. Good birding, Patty Craig Dameron, MD pattycraig@mail.ameritel.net ======================================================================= To leave the MDOsprey list, send e-mail to listserv@home.ease.lsoft.com with the following message in line 1: signoff mdosprey ======================================================================= =========================================================================
