The first offshoot of the trail that heads to the wooden "overlook" had a NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH and PALM WARBLER. Optimistic we headed down the paved path and found nothing, nada, zilch. One more NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH and a single BLACK AND WHITE WARBLER along with a scattering of common woodland birds. It was however a lovely morning and a nice walk. As we approached the end of our walk, and the beginning of the pa th we found a nice pocket of many birds but only a few species. A young male NORTHERN PARULA, 12-14 REDSTARTS, 8 MAGNOLIA WARBLES and a couple BLACK AND WHITES. Then we went to PLUM TREE PATH. It is immpassable until the veget ation dies back. We did see a mature WHITE-EYED VIREO with a juvenile together on a branch. A single MAGNOLIA and a perky COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.
