The entertainment was chimney swifts. 50 or more of them swirled down into a nearby chimney at dusk-- great view from the Ambassador's outdoor tables. It seems early to me for chimney swifts to be massing for fall migration. So are they nesting in this chimney? Or have the fall roosts begun?
