Birding at KAG was good today with at least two Willow Flycatchers and tw=
o
Prothonotary Warblers. While at the extreme end of the marsh trail I hear=
d
the characteristic call of a DICKCISSEL     as the bird called repeatedly=
 as
it worked its way through the woods adjacent to Kenilworth Park - the sec=
tion
of the park just adjacent to KAG and the Anacostia River and which is ide=
al
habitat for Dickcissel. I drove over to KP (the NE section) and found lot=
s of
Indigo Buntings and Baltimore Orioles, several Blue Grosbeak, but no
Dickcissel and no Grasshopper Sparrows.
 Will check again later this week.
