Two days ago, I found a swamp sparrow at Cylburn Mansion. (Dark crown wi= th no median stripe, gray face, eye ring, unstreaked breast, moustachial lin= e with white line above the black line, and the white sharply contrasting w= ith the gray on the face.) It struck me as a little odd to see a swamp sparr= ow in an area fairly far removed from any swamp. It was hopping about in th= e rows bushes (boxwood?) behind and to the East of the mansion. Since Cybu= rn is the home of the Baltimore Bird Club, I expect that it has its own "yar= d list." Just out of curiosity, does anyone know whether swamp sparrow is = on Cylburn's list?
