At any rate, enjoyed sight of male Ruby-throated with fiery throat taking nectar from my Virginia Bluebells and Plox Stoliniferna first thing this morning. I was happy to have provided breakfast for him. A new yard sighting as well this am with BROWN THRASHER scratching over the area we have prepared for a meadow. Yesterday ( 4/30 ) enjoyed a BROAD WING HAWK circling over the yard. Also, WHITE-CROWNED SPARROWS are on the move, have been present for the past week again in the yard. Their song one of my favorites.
